We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer (UI/UX) with 7–10+ years of professional experience in user interface and user experience design.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and user-centric interfaces for taxation, revenue, and financial compliance systems.
This is a contract-based role (6 months, renewable) where the designer will collaborate with front-end engineers, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications, ensuring accessibility and usability.
Work with stakeholders to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points, translating them into design solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries for consistency across products. Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback.
Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Champion user-centric design principles and advocate for the best user experience. Stay up-to-date with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. 7–10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably with exposure tofinancial or taxation platforms.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing complex enterprise-grade applications.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Experience conducting user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Ability to produce wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual designs.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate design decisions effectively tostakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing solutions for taxation, government, or financial compliance systems.
Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS, React) to better collaborate
with engineers. Familiarity with design systems and component-driven development.
Ability to balance creativity with attention to detail and technical feasibility.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
