- Crown Interactive is seeking a Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping how users interact with our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders—to design user-centered solutions that are both functional and visually compelling. From wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, your work will directly influence the success of our digital products and the satisfaction of our users.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Design Leadership & Product Strategy
- Lead end-to-end design strategy for complex government, SaaS, and enterprise products.
- Partner with Product Managers and business leaders to shape product vision, roadmap priorities, and user experience strategy.
- Translate high-level business, policy, and regulatory requirements into scalable design solutions.
- Champion user-centered design while balancing compliance, security, and operational constraints.
Advanced UX & UI Design Execution
- Own the design of complex, data-heavy, and multi-role systems (admin, operators, decision-makers, citizens).
- Design highly scalable interfaces for enterprise and government platforms with multiple modules and integrations.
- Create and validate advanced interaction models, workflows, and information architecture.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG), security guidelines, and public sector digital standards.
User Research & Service Design
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives across multiple products or programs.
- Design end-to-end service journeys across departments, agencies, and digital touchpoints.
- Synthesize insights into clear design principles, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Advocate for evidence-based design decisions with stakeholders and leadership.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as a primary design representative in engagements with government agencies and enterprise clients.
- Facilitate design workshops, discovery sessions, and co-creation activities with stakeholders.
- Present design solutions to senior leadership, clients, and non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
- Manage conflicting stakeholder requirements while protecting user experience quality.
Design Systems Ownership & Scalability
- Own, evolve, and govern the organization’s design system across SaaS and enterprise products.
- Define design standards, reusable components, and accessibility guidelines.
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across multiple teams and products.
- Collaborate with engineering on design-to-code alignment and system adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Guide teams through design trade-offs related to performance, security, and technical limitations.
- Review implemented features to ensure design intent and usability standards are met.
- Identify risks early and proactively drive solutions.
Mentorship & Design Culture
- Mentor mid-level and junior designers through regular critiques, coaching, and feedback.
- Set quality benchmarks and elevate overall design standards within the organization.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of designers.
- Foster a strong design culture focused on impact, clarity, and collaboration.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Awareness
- Ensure design solutions comply with government regulations, data protection laws, and audit requirements.
- Design for role-based access, traceability, reporting, and accountability.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and security teams to mitigate UX-related risks.
- Anticipate long-term implications of design decisions in public-sector environments.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define UX success metrics and track the impact of design decisions.
- Use analytics, usability metrics, and user feedback to refine experiences.
- Continuously improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay current with enterprise UX trends, govtech standards, and SaaS best practices.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Drive innovation in digital government and enterprise solutions through design thinking.
- Explore new interaction patterns, technologies, and service models.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, playbooks, and best practices.
- Represent the design team in strategic discussions and long-term planning.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Ability to present and communicate design decisions effectively
- Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving, and final deliverables
Core Design Skills
- Strong expertise in UX and UI design for complex, data-driven, and enterprise-scale products.
- Proven ability to design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing scalable workflows for multi-role systems (admins, operators, auditors, decision-makers).
User Research & Service Design
- Strong experience leading user research including interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and surveys.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights.
- Experience designing end-to-end service journeys, especially within government or large enterprise contexts.
- Familiarity with usability testing tools and research frameworks.
Government, SaaS & Enterprise Domain Knowledge
- Solid understanding of government processes, public sector workflows, and digital service delivery.
- Experience designing for SaaS and enterprise software products with high security, performance, and scalability needs.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements such as data protection, audit trails, role- based access, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience working with regulated environments or complex organizational structures.
Design Systems & Scalability
- Proven experience building, maintaining, and governing design systems.
- Strong understanding of component-based design and design-to-code workflows.
- Ability to ensure consistency across multiple products and teams.
- Experience collaborating with engineers on scalable UI implementations.
Collaboration & Communication Skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, Compliance, and Security teams.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Confidence engaging senior leadership and external clients (including government stakeholders).

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI design, or interaction design.
- Proven experience designing SaaS, enterprise, or government digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, problem-solving, and impact.
- Experience working with cross-functional product teams in an agile environment.
