Manages purchasing activities in one Operating Center for the assigned discipline
Responsible for the entire purchasing activity entrusted to him (e.g. Commodity family or Entity).
Job Description
Constant monitoring of market developments in terms of process, supplier work load and, in particular, for proposing new suppliers
Schedules and distributes the work among the various members of his/her own group
Supervises and approves the quality of the work produced by their team, in accordance with local procedures
May carries out complex/ strategic purchasing activities of the Entity
Prepares the Project Vendor List, and selects the vendors from whom to order for their own sector of commodities with the collaboration of Project Procurement Managers and Engineering Discipline Manager
