Procurement/Inventory Officer at Black Hill

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Living on the island is an added advantage) 

Salary range: 120,000 - 150,000

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement/Inventory Officer to join their team. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods and services for our hospitality operations. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate procurement records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase goods and services needed for daily operations.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock.
• Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Evaluate and report on supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
• Resolve supplier or delivery issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Proven 2 to 3 years experience as a Procurement/Inventory Officer, preferably in the hospitality industry is compulsory.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an added advantage 
• Living on the island is an added advantage
