Principal PACO Engineer at International Energy Services Limited (IESL)

About the job

• Seeking an experienced PACO Engineer who will work directly with DED contractors and construction and commissioning teams to support engineering queries up to handover and, lead the control system vendors and system integrators in the pre-commissioning and SAT phases of Project delivery. 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Knowledge of HSSE framework, DCAF, DEPs, DEM1, DEM2 and International engineering standards, best practices, and systems.
• Proficient in plant Automation, process control & safeguarding and system integration, including 3rd party packages 
• Experienced in managing MAC especially Emerson system (chosen project MAC) with ability to intervene in site configuration, debugging and commissioning.
• Vast experience in managing pre-commissioning and commissioning of a variety of PLC, DCS and SIS; design reviews, FAT, iFAT and SAT for 3rd party Vendor packages such as Gas Turbines, Compressors, metering package and system integration
• Experience in the specification, design and integration of telecommunications systems 
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to work independently, as well as challenge and support others

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, instrumentation) 
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Automation Engineering, field instrumentation and project management in Oil and Gas projects. 
• 5+ years working directly within an EPC environment, including exposure to project standards.
