Power Plant & Machinery Officer (Alternative Power)
Ensure effective execution of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between the Bank and service providers for inverters, batteries, and UPS systems across branches and offsite locations.
Manage and coordinate service providers to ensure timely resolution of fault callouts, equipment breakdowns, and technical support requests.
Prepare memos for management approval relating to power systems and facility upgrade projects.
Draft and issue Letters of Purchase Orders (LPOs) for procurement and contract execution with vendors and contractors.
Supervise mechanical services in branch development projects, ensuring compliance with Bank standards and specifications, while maintaining budgetary control.
Assist in evaluating equipment designs and selecting components aligned with lifecycle efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of maintenance.
Conduct routine inspections and performance assessments of inverter and UPS systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with operational standards.
Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of all Bank information, particularly technical data and documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service history, maintenance activities, and vendor performance.
Participate in budgeting and cost estimation for inverter, battery, and UPS upgrades or new installations.
Undertake other relevant assignments and administrative tasks as may be delegated by management.
Job Requirements
First degree in Engineering etc. higher Degrees/Professional Certifications (an added advantage)
Minimum experience: 6 years relevant experience needed
