Plant Engineer at Industrial & Medical Gases Nigeria Plc

Key Responsibility

• Achieve SHEQ objectives
• Ensure the Production plant is operated safely and effectively to achieve production targets.Monitor all functioning facilities to ensure they are working within manufacturer’s allowable limits.
• Monitor and adjust accordingly all production parameters.
• Provide logs of these parameters on an hourly basis.
• Identify and report any deviations or errors noticed on the machinery.
• Participate in the maintenance of the plant as at when required.
• Provide a report of the production carried out during his/her shift.
• Participate in major maintenance planning by providing leadership in deciding instrumentation/mechanical and electrical scopes, based on up-to-date condition information, best practice, and performance history of instrumentation/mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure that all maintenance work in scope is recorded “As found” and “As Left” using the SAP PM system.

Job Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Instrumentation / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience with background in either Instrumentation will be added advantage.
• The ideal candidate must be a Nigerian Citizen.
• Age 27- 35 years
• Completed NYSC scheme.
• Must have strong interpersonal and ability to work under pressure.
