Pipeline Hot Tap / Line Stop Specialist at Seflam SGL Ltd

Job Summary

• The Pipeline Hot Tap / Line Stop Specialist is responsible for executing and supervising hot tapping and line stopping activities on live pipelines as part of pipeline modification, tie-in, or repair works within EPCI projects.
• This role ensures the safe, precise, and timely execution of intervention operations while adhering to all industry codes and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years practical field experience with at least 3 years in live pipeline hot tapping and line stopping.
• Hands-on experience with hot tapping equipment (E4, E320, E1 448).
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, codes, and standards. (ANSI/ASME B31.3, B31.8, API 2201).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability in high-pressure live system environments. Oil & Gas industry experience is important.
