PHE Teacher at Blooms Academy

Job Summary

• We are looking for an energetic and committed PHE Teacher with at least 3 years of proven teaching experience to join our school community.
• The ideal candidate must be TRCN certified, passionate about physical fitness, sports, and health education, and able to promote an active lifestyle among students.
• Skills in organizing sports programs and integrating technology into physical education will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physical and Health Education according to the school curriculum.
• Teach health-related topics including personal hygiene, nutrition, safety, and first aid.
• Organize and supervise sports activities, inter-house competitions, and fitness programs.
• Develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured activities.
• Ensure safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
• Assess and monitor students’ performance in both theoretical and practical components.
• Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and represent the school in competitions.
• Integrate technology such as fitness apps, sports analysis tools, and digital resources into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues on health awareness campaigns and whole-school wellness programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education, Human Kinetics, or a related field.
• TRCN certification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of sports, fitness training, and health education curriculum.
• Coaching certifications or experience in specific sports is an added advantage.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
