Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmaceutical department in providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately to patients.
• Maintaining and organizing pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
• Preparing prescription labels and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Processing patient prescriptions and managing point-of-sale transactions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with hospital standards.
• Providing basic counseling to patients on drug usage as directed by the Pharmacist.

Requirements

• Education: Must possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a recognized School of Health Technology.
• Registration: Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and possess a valid practicing license.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer operations.
• Must be a team player with a high level of integrity.
• Note: Candidates must reside within or very close to Uromi.
