Petroleum and Gas Trader (Downstream & Gas Products) at Helean Global Limited

Responsibilities 

• Originate and execute profitable oil and gas trading deals across West Africa
• Originate, negotiate, and execute trading contracts for crude oil, refined products (e.g., PMS, AGO, DPK, LPG), and/or natural gas
• Build and manage a strong portfolio of clients, suppliers, and partners across key markets in West Africa, Europe, and the Middle East
• Analyze market trends and forecasts to identify profitable trading opportunities
• Oversee all commercial and shipping operations 
• Handle the submission of cargo documentation in accordance with PPPRA and DPR regulations
• Monitor global oil & gas markets, benchmark indices, and supply-demand dynamics to inform pricing and trading strategies
• Manage storage positions, truck sales, and monthly stock reconciliation, particularly in West Africa 

Requirements 

• 10 years of experience in oil trading, energy, shipping, and the energy trading sector
• Vast experience in oil and gas trading within Nigeria and the Anglophone West African region
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of responsibilities
• understanding of trade finance instruments, INCOTERMS, vessel chartering, and supply chain coordination
