    Partnership and Stakeholder Manager

    Position Summary

    • The Partnership and Stakeholder Manager is a middle-level management position and the jobholder will play a crucial role in driving partnerships and raising funds for the sustainability of key initiatives at the Impact Investors Foundation. This includes the Wholesale Impact Investing Fund (WIIF), the Enterprise Support Collaboratives (ESO), and the Nigerian Impact Investing Research Industry Collaborative (NIIRIC). The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, identifying funding opportunities, and promoting IIF's mission across various platforms.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • The role requires a highly motivated, innovative, and organized individual who is culturally sensitive and understands the local context in Nigeria. The ideal candidate must possess strong networking, market analysis, relationship-building, and fundraising skills. Additionally, should have proven experience in partnership building, stakeholder engagement, and strategy development, and a deep passion for impact investing and sustainable development.

    Scope of Work

    Strategic Partnership Development:

    • Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with local and international organizations, government agencies, investors, and private-sector entities to support IIF initiatives.
    • Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:
    • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial and non-financial resources for WIIF, ESO, and NIIRIC.
    • Prepare funding proposals, grant applications, and sponsorship packages tailored to donor and partner priorities.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with impact investors, financial institutions, partners, development organizations, government agencies, and private sector actors to build a robust ecosystem for impact investing in Nigeria.
    • Represent IIF at key events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to advocate for IIF’s initiatives.

    Strategic Program Support:

    • Work closely with program leads to understand the unique needs of WIIF, ESO, and NIIRIC, ensuring that partnership efforts align with programmatic goals and deliver measurable outcomes

    Program Sustainability and Growth:

    • Develop sustainability plans for IIF’s initiatives, ensuring continued support and scaling of programs.
    • Monitor and report on the impact of partnerships and funding to stakeholders.

    Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:

    • Establish mechanisms to track and evaluate the success of partnerships and funding activities, ensuring alignment with IIF’s mission and goals.
    • Report regularly to leadership on partnership performance and funding progress.

    Market Intelligence and Strategy:

    • Conduct market research and stay updated on trends in impact investing, enterprise support, and research collaborations.
    • Use insights to refine strategies for engaging stakeholders and accessing new funding opportunities.

    National Advisory Board for Impact Investing (NABII) and Partnership Engagement.

    • Provide secretariat support to National Advisory Board and working groups.
    • Design membership engagement programmes for NABII.
    • Work with the Programme Manager in terms of resource planning and content generation.
    • Grow IIF partnerships and NABII membership and follow up with members for their annual due payments.
    • Design a strategy to retain and keep NABII members engaged and satisfied.

    Qualification:

    • Minimum MBA, Master’s degree in Public Relations, Social Sciences or related fields.
    • Experience: 7+ years’ experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, proven track record of successful fundraising and resource mobilization within the nonprofit, impact investing or development sector.
