Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 2 - 5 years of work experience.

Clinical Skills:

• The candidate must be well versed in basic and advanced examination techniques of the eye, including slit lamp, gonioscopy, fundus examination (with +90D/ + 78D/ +20D/ +28D lenses), indirect ophthalmoscopy, applanation tonometry, non-contact tonometry.
• And expert in special investigative procedures pertaining to the anterior segment diseases like Ultrasound B scan, A-scan and fundus photography.

Surgical Skills:

• The preferred candidate should have done reasonable numbers of the following procedures:
  • Small incision cataract surgeries.
  • Trabeculectomies.
  • Pterygial excision with conjunctival Autograft.
  • Proficiency in other anterior segment surgeries, including phacoemulsification cataract surgery, will be an added advantage.
