Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Midwife at Ropheka Specialist Clinic and Maternity, located in Benin City.
• The Nurse Midwife will be responsible for providing comprehensive maternity care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
• Key responsibilities include assisting with deliveries, offering family planning guidance, and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Additional tasks include counseling patients, monitoring maternal and fetal conditions, and contributing to the overall delivery of safe and effective healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Midwifery and Maternity care, with hands-on experience in prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal support
• Proficiency in Nursing and Medicine for comprehensive patient treatment and care
• Knowledge of Family Planning services, with the ability to provide patient education and counseling
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusting relationships with patients
• Valid nursing and/or midwifery license or certification
• Experience working in obstetrics or related fields is highly preferred
