Job Summary

• HRLeverage a pan-africa workforce management is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operational Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations within a fast-paced environment. 
• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in operational accounting, particularly within eateries or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support inventory and cost control processes.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve financial performance.
• Assist in audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree/ HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operational accounting within eateries or FMCG organizations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
