    Operation Manager

    Our client, a womenswear brand based in Lagos, is looking to hire an Operations Manager who will oversee daily operations across production, store activities, and logistics, ensuring the smooth delivery of their fashion collections to customers locally and internationally.

    Responsibilities

    • Production & Sourcing: Work with suppliers, artisans, and production teams to ensure quality materials are procured and production timelines are met.
    • Inventory & Stock Management: Track stock levels across the store and online platforms, plan for restocking, and avoid stock shortages or excesses.
    • Retail & Order Fulfilment: Oversee store operations, ensuring the space reflects the brand’s standards and customers have a positive experience. Manage online and in-store order processing and deliveries.
    • Logistics Coordination: Work with delivery partners, vendors, and couriers to ensure timely delivery of customer orders, both locally and abroad.
    • Team Management: Supervise and support store staff, production assistants, and other team members to ensure everyone delivers on their responsibilities.
    • Operational Processes: Help set up simple, clear processes to keep operations running smoothly, from production to customer delivery.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in operations, retail, supply chain, or related roles.
    • Ability to manage stock, coordinate with vendors, and oversee store operations.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business. 
    • Tech-savvy, with basic experience in using inventory or tracking systems. 
    • Experience in the fashion, retail, or e-commerce sector is an advantage.

    Must have skills

    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Good leadership skills with the ability to supervise a small team.
    • Knowledge of traditional fabrics and artisan production processes is a plus.
