Role Summary:

As an Oncologist at you will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, providing compassionate care to patients while utilizing the latest advances in oncology research and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine the type and stage of cancer in patients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with cancer, incorporating chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, and targeted therapies as appropriate.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and adjust treatment regimens as necessary.
• Provide supportive care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, managing symptoms and side effects to improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and palliative care specialists, to coordinate comprehensive cancer care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in oncology practice.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice as an oncologist in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in oncology.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Compassionate bedside manner and excellent communication skills.
