Oil Palm Plantation Field Officer at Edgewood Consulting

Responsibilities 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Assuming operations responsibility in ensuring infrastructure and supporting units are well equipped.
• Coordinating all Agriculture aspects (Planting, Harvesting, Maintenance, processing and packaging).
• Actively involved in Farm operations.
• Involved in the planning and execution of the company’s expansion plan.
• Oversees the daily operations of the Palm Estate
• Inspecting the plantations and preparing submission written report after each visit detailing the state and conditions of all aspects of the estate together with necessary recommendations.
• Ensure all work operations in safe and responsible manner
• Planning and managing estate budget to ensure operating expenses and profitability are maximized.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and also local government and community around the estate.

The Profile
Qualifications / Experience:

• HND or BSc in Agriculture / Forestry / Science & Technology or any related field.
• 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Working experience in a Palm Oil Mill will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work and live in Okitipupa Environ.
