Nursing Officer (Wellness Nurse) at Medbury Healthcare Group

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and patient-centered Wellness Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting preventive healthcare, conducting wellness assessments, providing health education, and supporting clients in achieving their overall health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings, wellness assessments, and basic clinical evaluations.
• Provide health education and lifestyle counseling on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention.
• Support the planning and execution of corporate wellness programs and health campaigns.
• Monitor clients\' health status and provide appropriate follow-up and referrals where necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with clinical standards.
• Assist in coordinating health talks, wellness events, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Administer basic treatments and nursing care within the scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, infection prevention measures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality wellness services.
• Promote a positive client experience through excellent patient care and communication.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Registered Midwife (RM) qualification.
• Valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Minimum of 2–3 years\' clinical nursing experience.
• Previous experience in wellness, preventive healthcare, occupational health, or corporate health programs will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for health promotion, preventive care, and patient education.
