Job Summary

• The Nursing Assistant supports healthcare professionals by providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• This role helps maintain patient comfort, dignity, and well-being while following established healthcare protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help patients with mobility needs such as walking, transferring, repositioning, and using mobility aids.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Support patients with meals by serving food, feeding those unable to feed themselves, and monitoring dietary intake.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment (bed making, cleaning equipment, changing linens).

Qualifications and Skills

• SSCE / OND or equivalent (Certificate in Nursing Assistant or related field is an advantage).
• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic nursing care and hygiene practices.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
