Effectively leading the on-trade team across Nigeria by driving sales growth and enhancing brand visibility within the on-trade sector, including clubs, fine dining establishments, hotels, bars, and other hospitality venues.
Focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, executing targeted sales strategies, and ensuring consistent, high-quality brand representation across all venues.
Job Responsibilties
Developing and nurturing strong relationships with key on-trade accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and engagement.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the on-trade sector to drive revenue growth.
Conducting regular visits to on-trade venues to monitor brand performance and gaining market insights for strategic planning
Ensuring prominent and consistent brand display in on-trade venues, in alignment with brand guidelines.
Collaborating with trade marketing teams to implement point-of-sale materials, promotional campaigns, and events in on-trade locations.
Monitoring and reporting on competitor activities within the on-trade sector to inform strategic positioning.
Analysing sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimizing brand presence within the on-trade sector.
Developing and implementing corrective actions based on market analysis to meet or exceed sales targets
Training and supporting field sales representatives, ensuring they are well-prepared to effectively represent the brand.
Working closely with other sales channels (off-trade, e-commerce) to ensure a unified market strategy.
Balancing account visits, adhering to travel and budget guidelines, reporting, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate reporting, and performing other administrative duties as may be required.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 7+ years of commercial experience in FMCG; minimum 3–5 years in On-Trade channel management.
Proven success managing key accounts at the national level (hotels, bars, lounges, quick-service restaurants, airports).
Experience leading trade activations, brand visibility programs, and consumer engagement campaigns.
Strong track record in negotiation with high-value customers and distributor networks.
