    Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

    • The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is a middle-level management position and the jobholder is accountable for roles and responsibilities of the overall monitoring and evaluation strategy and implementation in the Foundation.
    • The Ideal Candidate:  Is an innovative individual who seeks a challenging and rewarding opportunity to showcase competencies in M&E and lead data transformation in the impact investment industry in Nigeria. The candidate should be able to:

    Scope of Services

    •  Develop M & E framework and key performance indicators  for progressive and summative evaluation for the Foundation.
    • Collaborate with the programme manager and partners to design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) approaches, formats, and resources for the Foundation.
    • Collate and analyse data to generate reports on projects/programmes and expenditures on time series basis.
    •  Conduct capacity assessment on existing impact measurement and management system.
    •  Monitor projects/programmes’ activities, budgets, expenditures, and progress for alignment between objectives, outputs, and outcomes.
    • Generate reports from M&E findings/learnings for multidimensional stakeholders to enhance the Foundation’s contributions to best practices in the industry.

    Qualification

    • Master’s degree in Social Sciences; Impact Measurement and Management; Statistics, Public Policy, International Development, Economics or related fields.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in MEL, with at least 2 years spent at leadership level in social services sector with a bias for non-profit organisations with dynamics similar to the Foundation. Strategic Planning, Performance Measurement, Database Management, Evaluation Methodologies Knowledge, Reports and Facilitation, Impact Measurement and Management, Negotiation capabilities, and Knowledge of Laws and Legislations.
