Oversee the daily production schedule for Bitumen Emulsion, Supergrade G, and Polymer Modified Bitumen.
Optimize production processes to maximize output, minimize waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Manage raw material inventory (bitumen, polymers, crumb rubber, emulsifiers, additives), ensuring adequate supply and efficient consumption.
Collaborate closely with Quality Control to ensure all products meet specifications.
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program for all bitumen plant machinery and infrastructure.
Oversee the execution of all maintenance activities, including corrective repairs, overhauls, installations, and calibrations, specifically for equipment handling hot and viscous materials.
Manage spare parts inventory for critical components, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure a proactive safety culture, ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment, including bitumen tanks, reactors, mixers, mills, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler systems, filtration units, and loading/unloading facilities.
Responsible for logistics/Bitumen heating/dispatches from the plant.
Any other responsibility that may be assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications
Minimum of HND in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Bitumen Plant, Asphalt plant and Road construction
Organized with the ability to change priorities as needed
Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
Must have good technical, planning and communication skills.
