Mixologist - Abuja at FoodCourt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Mixologist is responsible for crafting creative and high-quality cocktails and beverages that meet customer expectations and enhance the overall dining or lounge experience. This role combines beverage artistry with hospitality, ensuring guests receive exceptional service while maintaining bar cleanliness, stock levels, and compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drink Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve classic, modern, and signature cocktails as per recipes or customer requests.
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and menu pairings.
• Ensure all drinks are presented with high-quality garnishing and consistency.

Bar Operations

• Set up and stock the bar before each shift with necessary ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all hygiene standards are met.
• Ensure bar equipment (blenders, shakers, etc.) is properly used and maintained.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor bar stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Receive, label, and store bar supplies and ingredients.
• Prevent wastage by using proper portion control and handling procedures.

Customer Interaction & Experience

• Engage customers with product knowledge, storytelling, and a welcoming attitude.
• Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and escalate where necessary.
• Uphold a lively yet professional bar environment.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.
• Verify legal drinking age and avoid over-serving guests.
• Report incidents, breakages, or safety concerns promptly.
