We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Microbiology Lecturer to join our faculty. Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in microbiology, advising students, and contributing to the growth and development of the College.
Responsibilities
Facilitate students’ learning and contribute to curriculum development.
Coordinate classroom and laboratory activities, evaluate student learning and maintain academic records and attendance.
Develop scholarly pedagogic outputs such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
Promote collegiality within the academic community by serving on committees, participating in faculty and staff meetings and departmental activities.
Stay current in the academic discipline through professional development opportunities.
Be available for academic support outside of the classroom.
Other responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
B.Sc. in Microbiology.
Must possess a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
