Responsibilities

Focus on well-being:

• MHPSS aims to enhance the ability of individuals to cope with life\'s stresses, realize their potential, and contribute to their communities.

Multi-sectoral approach:

• Addressing both mental health and psychosocial needs:
• This includes providing support for specific mental health conditions and also addressing broader psychosocial factors that affect well-being.

Importance in emergencies:

• MHPSS is critical in emergency situations to mitigate the impact of trauma and promote recovery.
• Emphasis on community and individual agency:
• MHPSS empowers individuals and communities to support each other and build resilience.

Examples of MHPSS interventions:

• Community and family support activities:

Psychological first aid:

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor\'s Degree / HND or Master\'s Degree qualification with 2 - 7 years work experience.
