Job Overview

• The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive medical services, ensure optimal patient management, and support clinical operations in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct thorough patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatment plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies, stabilize patients, and coordinate referrals where necessary.
• Supervise and collaborate with nurses, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals for efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation of patient progress.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical medical practices, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Full registration and licensing with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Minimum of 1-3 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong clinical skills in patient diagnosis, treatment, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work rotational 12-hour shifts (Day & Night shifts).
