Medical Laboratory Scientist at Nile Valley Mother and Child Hospital

• The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform diagnostic testing and analysis, prepare specimens, and interpret test results within a laboratory setting.
• They will adhere to all laboratory safety and quality control procedures, work closely with pathologists and other healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Additionally, the Medical Laboratory Scientist will maintain accurate records and provide timely and accurate results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills
• Experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
• Knowledge of Quality Control procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Certification from a recognized certifying board, such as ASCP, is preferred
• Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting
