Mechanical Maintenance Manager - Power Plant at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

• Coordinate all Power Plant maintenance tasks, and Plan resources in alignment with production requirement at the right time, quality and cost, to ultimately maintain asset reliability and continuously improve the overall plant performance.

THE JOB

• Coordinates Overhauling, Repairs, and Maintenance of Power Generating Equipment and Auxiliaries, with good knowledge of Jenbacher Engines and other reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedule for all utility assets such as generators, boilers, air compressors, chillers, water treatment plants etc.
• Coordinates and supervises maintenance team, provides guidance and routine inspections of work progress to ensure job delivery.
• Provides training and continuous development for all maintenance personnel & ensures Performance evaluations are conducted for the Technical Workforce.
• Drives the Maintenance and Reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
• Develops and maintains quality standards operating procedures for maintenance & Conducts Root Cause/Failure Mode analysis on Equipment.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pay keen attention to details and a good interpersonal skill.
• Basic Electrical Engineering knowledge.
• Power generation equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  B.Sc./HND Mechanical Engineering
• M.Sc. Mech. Engineering is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing/ related industry. 
• Membership with NSE/COREN.
