Mechanical Installation Engineer at TECO Limited

Job Description

• Develop detailed installation plans, coordinate with project managers and contractors, and ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect materials and equipment for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
• Build, install and align components to a complete machine.
• Install equipment at customer locations, including equipment with new features, pilot and proto systems.
• Perform complex adjustments, perform upgrades, diagnose and solve problems with limited support.
• Answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner.
• Transfer knowledge to local install crews and first/ second line engineers.
• Perform administrative and coordination duties including SO's. IRG's, pass down, progress reporting.
• Follow all standard and regulatory work practices during installation and customer specific site work practices
• Prepare written technical reports as and when due.

Education and Qualifications

• First Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience, Knowledge and Understanding:

• In-depth knowledge and competence in the installation of Mechanical equipment.
• Show knowledge and confidence in dealing with colleagues to ensure correct procedures are being followed.
