Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and implementing maintenance strategies that drive operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance assessments of plant equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of mechanical systems and production machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to achieve operational targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and rotating equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an added advantage.
