Mechanical Engineer FMCG Manufacturing(Ibadan) at Nicole Sinclair Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support and supervise all aspects of mechanical maintenance across the plant. The role focuses on solving breakdowns, implementing preventive and planned maintenance, and driving efficiency in line with set KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for planned maintenance routines of all machine and equipment in the shift
• Keep record of breakdowns and maintenance works to reduce down time by suggesting and implementing correct user process and training.
• Must report on the condition of all machines/equipment for all spares required for smooth functioning of plant equipment.
• Select to develop correct training program for subordinate mechanical technicians.
• Suggest modification and alterations for reducing downtime and increasing performance of plant equipment.
• Responsible for indicating training requirements for subordinate engineering staff and operators.

KEY REQUIREMENT

•  Full mechanical knowledge of all equipment in utility/process/ production plant.
• BSc / degree in Mechanical engineering with minimum five years’ experience.
• Should be able to handle all breakdowns and preventive/corrective/planned maintenance related to workshop and mechanical.
•  Should have basic knowledge of power distribution and production equipment planning
