    Marketing Manager

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
    Department: Marketing and Communication
    Grade / Level: Mid - Advanced level
    Reporting Relationships: Reports to: CEO

    Overview

    • The Marketing and Communications Manager leads the marketing and comms department at Spacefinish.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for digital marketing and public relations initiatives that drives the brand forward, helps the brand achieve top of mind awareness (TOMA) amongst targeted audiences and also ultimately leads to business prospects.
    • The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of concepts regarding digital marketing strategies, platforms and tools.
    • S/He should be able to lead a marketing / PR campaign from conception to full execution.
    • S/He ensures that campaigns launch on time٫ and within budget.
    • Must be experienced and comfortable working with a variety of other teams including architect/designers, project managers, Human resources, programmers, and vendors.

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities
    Communication and PR Management:

    • Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics for the brand
    • Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
    • Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
    • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
    • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
    • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
    • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
    • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
    • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
    • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
    • Spearhead crisis communications plans
    • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and effectiveness in accordance with performance measures to further refine operational plan
    • Evaluate target stakeholder’s response to determine effectiveness of the campaign

    Marketing:

    • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
    • Maintaining active social media presence across all digital channels
    • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
    • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
    • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
    • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
    • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
    • Partner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.

    Customer Experience:

    • Compile information and manage communication across various customer touch points to ensure a consistent and pleasant experience.
    • Manage and analyse customer data to foster long-term relationships with customers and drive sales growth
    • Design the organisation’s customer service database
    • Develop user requirements for customer service database
    • Collect feedback on improvements to customer service experience
    • Review existing customer relationship management programmes
    • Develop customer relationship management plans
    • Manage customer relationship management programmes to manage customer relationships
    • Manage and inspect customer requirements, build trust and respect through use of effective communication techniques and present information clearly and with sufficient details to meet customer needs
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of the customer service database
    • Review and endorse the suitable methods and tools for the development of the customer service database
    • Oversee the identification and prioritisation of information to be captured in the customer service database
    • Develop customer relationship management strategies
    • Guide operational plan and development to support achievement of customer relationship management strategies
    • Initiate and drive customer relationships that enhance customer loyalty and select the most appropriate mode of communication for the information being provided
    • Evaluate recommendations to improve the customer service

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree qualification (preferably in Marketing or related field), Masters qualification desirable
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing and Communication
    • Relevant certification is a plus
