    Manager, Drivers Helpdesk Unit

    Job Summary:

    • The Drivers Helpdesk Unit (DHU) Manager oversees the affairs of the Unit by designing and ensuring job functions are effectively carried out.
    • The DHU Manager also ensures assigned programs are successfully executed and office mandates are adhered to as specified by the Management.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Effectively manage and oversee the affairs of the unit
    • Preparation and presentation of DHU reports at management meetings
    • Interface between the office (DHU), management and other Unit/Departmental Heads
    • Escalate/follow-up on driver’s cases to ensure timely resolution
    • Organize daily safety pep talk for drivers and present reports to management
    • Make periodic reports and analysis for management decision-making
    • Gathering of relevant driver’s related data/information for management use
    • Communication of innovations, ideas and drivers-related developments to management

    Requirements

    Academic/Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Management/Social Sciences or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of cognate work experience
    • Higher educational qualification/professional certification in relevant courses is an added advantage

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision
    • High emotional intelligence and leadership skills
    • Ability to communicate in English and Hausa languages
    • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS suite
    • Knowledge and skill of successfully managing a Team
