Manager - BTS Field and RHLS at MTN Nigeria

Mission:

• To manage the operation and maintenance of the RAN Field & Radio network, as well as ensure integration/performance of all new RAN Field & Radio nodes meet MTNN network quality standards.

Description:

• Ensure adequate maintenance of in-building radio solutions and repeaters for optimal efficiency and delivery of Qos AND QoE.
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day activities of RAN Field & Radio HLS engineers. 
• Carry out Type Approval/ FNI of both new products and Solutions and advice the MTN management appropriately.
• Ensure the Software and Hardware upgrade processes, procedures and Testing strictly adhered to ensure resilience in the MTN network.
• Ensure all Tools and equipment used for network operation and maintenance were all calibrated once in a year.
• Ensure timely review and approval of acceptance, testing, integration and cutover documentation of new solutions to include High-capacity Low band and High Band Radio, MIMOs and 5G NR.
• Ensure performance of integration and acceptance tests according to MTNN and 3GPP Standards.
• Ensure prompt availability of information on inventory of all network nodes and provision of SPMS to the support replacement of faulty Network elements. 
• Review and approve operation and maintenance procedures for RAN Field & Radio operations, BSC, RNC, E-NODE B, NODE B ,G-NODE B and RBS sites.
• Ensure conformance to NCC regulatory business rule with respect to RAN deployment. Performance and Maintenance.
• Provision of BSS/RAN consumables to support operation and maintenance of the Network Group Division.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures to foster efficiency
• Prepare annual budgetary needs.

Education:

• First degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or any relevant engineering degree.
• Fluent in English

Experience:

6 - 13 years’ experience which includes:

• Experience working in a medium organization.
• Experience in Radio and Microwave support
• Experience in operations or planning background in Telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Usage
