Core Responsibilities
Timely and accurate preparation of management and financial accounts monthly.
Assisting in preparation of consolidated group financial statements
Assists in preparing yearly budgets and undertaking quarterly/monthly/weekly performance reviews thereof.
Upgrading financial processes and systems.
Responsible for the integrity of the accounting system by ensuring that accounting transactions are posted and financial reports are produced timely.
Required Experience / Qualifications
Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any other related field (A post-graduate degree will be an added advantage).
Must be a member/fellow of a recognized accounting professional body i.e. ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, etc.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
Must have working experience across financial management, reporting and analysis, budgeting and planning, and strategic business review with the application of IFRS.
Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy.
Must have in-depth ERP experience.
Strong accounting and book-keeping skills.
Good communication and strong report-writing skills.
