Maintenance Technician at CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria

Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and equipment. Your responsibility will be to conduct regular maintenance, troubleshoot and repair machinery, and assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance measures. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, is detail-oriented, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including inspection, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and apply appropriate solutions.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs and repair reports.

Requirements

• HND OR BSC in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the food and beverages industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed.
