JOB OVERVIEW

As a Machine operator, your primary responsibility is to oversee, manage and maintain machinery within the organization. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production specifications.
• Set up machines (e.g., calibrating, adjusting, programming) according to job requirements.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure the continuous flow of materials throughout the production process.
• Perform regular inspections, installation and maintenance on machinery to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Making minor repairs to machinery and contacting vendors when necessary.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Observing and following company safety rules and regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in machine operation or related field.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
