    Logistics Operations Officer

    • The Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating daily transport and airport pickup operations, ensuring seamless trip allocation, real-time monitoring, effective communication with drivers and customers, and accurate reporting. This role is critical to maintaining service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Booking & Intake

    • Receive and process booking requests via WhatsApp, phone, email, or website
    • Confirm passenger details, flight numbers, arrival times, pickup/drop-off locations, and vehicle requirements
    • Ensure all booking information is accurate and logged into the system

    Dispatch & Trip Allocation

    • Assign trips to drivers and chauffeurs efficiently
    • Coordinate with airport protocol officers for VIP services where required
    • Share clear trip instructions and confirm driver acceptance
    • Ensure drivers have complete passenger and timing details

    Real-Time Operations Monitoring

    • Track flight arrivals and monitor delays or early landings
    • Monitor traffic conditions and adjust dispatch timing accordingly
    • Reassign drivers where necessary
    • Manage last-minute changes professionally and calmly

    Communication & Customer Support

    • Update customers when drivers are assigned
    • Provide timely updates regarding delays or changes
    • Maintain consistent communication with drivers via phone and WhatsApp
    • Handle complaints, special requests, and service recovery situations

    Reporting & Administrative Duties

    • Maintain daily trip logs
    • Track driver attendance and performance
    • Record completed vs. cancelled trips
    • Monitor revenue per trip and vehicle
    • Prepare incident reports (late arrivals, no-shows, service issues)
    • Submit daily/weekly operational reports to management

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
    • Experience in logistics, dispatch, transport coordination, or customer service
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent situations
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and WhatsApp Business tools
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
    • Knowledge of airport operations is an advantage
