Logistics Officer at Filmhouse Cinemas Limited

Job Description

1. Coordinate the distribution of items, concessions, documents, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
2. Manage the inventory of film copies (both physical and digital), promotional materials, and related assets, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions.
3. Liaise with courier services, and digital platforms to arrange the delivery and return of film copies and promotional materials.
4. Plan and oversee the transportation of items, concessions, digital items, ensuring secure and timely delivery.
5. Ensure all logistics activities comply with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of all logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory, and prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
7. Analyze logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize expenses while maintaining service quality.
8. Address and resolve any issues in the distribution process, such as delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in orders, and take corrective actions as needed.
9. Work closely with teams to align logistics operations with release schedules and promotional campaigns.
10. Ensure that all delivered materials meet quality standards and specifications required.

Qualifications

1. HND or Bsc, in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 3 years minimum
3. Strong understanding of distribution logistics and supply chain management.
4. Proficiency in inventory management systems, and ERP systems.
5. Procurement and negotiation skills
6. Ability to prioritise and multi-task
7. Time management skills
8. Relationship building
