Logistics Coordinator at Uniterm Nigeria Limited

DUTIES:

• Responsible for odering equipments and parts as required, Controlling and reporting of inventory.
• Requisitioning of materials as directed using the applicable requisitioning system 
• Receipt and verification of incoming material against manifest and reporting any discrepancy.
• Maintain equipment traceablity to and from the vessel utilizing manifests.
• Preparation of shipping manifests for back-loaded materials and equipment.
• Maintain Material safety Datasheets logbook.

EXPERIENCE: 5 Years

SKILLS: Capable of good decision making and oral communication.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:The logistics coordinator has the authority to stop any activity on ground of immediate safety, health and environment hazard.

DECISION MAKING: The logistics Coordinator co-ordinates with the Chief Engineer, Master, Superintendant, 1st Engineer, Chief Officer, Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) or any other person necessary to ensure availability and control of all spare parts and stores.
