Job Description

Hadi Finance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Loan Recovery Officer to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan collection and recovery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage with clients in both formal and informal settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to engage with clients for loan recovery purposes.
• Utilize effective communication skills to negotiate repayment terms and arrangements.
• Implement strategies to recover outstanding loan amounts in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records of loan recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate issues and provide updates on recovery progress.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance loan recovery efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan collection and recovery.
• Strong active listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in Pidgin English.
• Familiarity with the informal market and the ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
