Kitchen Supervisor / Working Sous Chef at Limewood Villa Hotel

A Bouquet Hotel, located at Lekki Phase 1, is urgently recruiting a Kitchen Supervisor / Working Sous Chef.

Requirements:

A hands-on kitchen leader responsible for daily operations, food consistency, staff supervision, and execution of menu standards. This role requires active cooking, training, and enforcing discipline in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Work actively in the kitchen during prep and service
• Supervise cooks and ensure food quality and consistency
• Train kitchen staff using simple and practical methods
• Enforce portion control and plating standards
• Ensure all dishes meet taste and presentation standards
• Manage kitchen workflow and timing during service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Assist in stock management and reduce wastage
• Report daily kitchen performance to management

Requirements

• Strong cooking skills (local and continental dishes preferred)
• Hands-on leadership experience in a busy kitchen
• Ability to train and manage semi-skilled staff
• Good understanding of portion control and cost awareness
• Must be disciplined, proactive, and reliable
• Ability to work under pressure
