Kitchen Assistant at Uncle Stan's Foods

• The Kitchen Assistant supports the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing various tasks that help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
• The Kitchen Assistant Applicants must have one of the following required skills: frying, grilling (Chicken, Turkey), pasting (Samosa, Spring Roll), Pastry Batter Preparation, and Pastry Packing.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
• Use basic kitchen equipment and tools safely and responsibly.

Education:

• SSCE or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and potential hazards such as hot surfaces and sharp objects.
• Requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items (20kG), and working under pressure during peak hours.
