    Key Account Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing long-term relationships with Hoop Telecoms Limited’s most strategic clients.
    • The role ensures customer satisfaction, drives revenue growth, and aligns telecoms solutions with client needs, while also identifying opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned key clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing client needs and ensuring service delivery excellence.
    • Understand client business goals and telecoms requirements to propose tailored solutions.
    • Achieve revenue and sales growth targets by upselling and cross-selling telecoms products and services.
    • Prepare and deliver client account plans, including forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic growth initiatives.
    • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to management on revenue, client satisfaction, and contract renewals.
    • Collaborate with Service Management, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.
    • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
    • Identify risks within accounts and proactively develop strategies to retain clients.
    • Stay updated on telecoms industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide insights to clients.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales, preferably within the telecoms/ICT industry.
    • Proven track record of managing large or strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of telecoms products, solutions, and services.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to build strong client relationships and influence decision-makers.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
