    Key Account Abuja

    Job Summary:

    The Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with key accounts in the modern trade and HORECA channels. This includes ensuring effective distribution, maximising sales, visibility, and brand presence for a premium portfolio of wines, spirits & energy drinks. The ideal candidate must have strong sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of the Nigerian beverage industry.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in modern trade and HORECA channels.

    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned portfolio.
    • Ensure full product availability and visibility across assigned outlets.
    • Execute trade marketing activities and promotional plans tailored for each key account.
    • Distribute & collaborate with distributors and internal logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
    • Monitor competitor activities and report trends, pricing, and promotional strategies.
    • Negotiate trade terms, contracts, and promotions with key accounts.
    • Track account performance and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
    • Train outlet staff on product knowledge and brand standards.
    • Ensure adherence to brand standards, pricing, and merchandising guidelines.

    Key Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in FMCG/Alcoholic Beverage industry, with at least 2 years managing key accounts in Nigeria.
    • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Nigerian modern trade and HORECA landscape.

    Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

    Other:

    • Own a Vehicle
    • Valid driver’s license

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with both local and international beverage brands.
    • Knowledge of category management and in-store execution.
    • Existing relationships with major retail chains and premium hospitality venues.
    • Self Starter
