Role Summary

• The Bag Sewer operates industrial sewing machines to stitch and finish polypropylene bags in line with production specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements to achieve daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bag sewing machines for stitching and finishing of PP sacks.
• Inspect bags to ensure required quality standards are met.
• Perform basic equipment checks and report faults promptly.
• Follow production schedules and meet assigned output targets.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with HSE and food safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic machine handling and teamwork skills.
