The Junior Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the Project Manager in managing project activities.
The individual will assist in cost tracking, invoicing, quality assurance, and documentation for both in-house and third-party services. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting across all project portfolios.
Job Details
Collect, review, and comment on documents required for invoicing (e.g., time sheets, reports)
Prepare invoice documentation for submission to the Financial Department
Track and follow up on JCCs, SES, invoice preparation, issuance, and client payments
Support subcontractor payment processing and maintain financial records
Update internal databases with financial, procurement, and service tracking data
Prepare monthly financial reports and activity completion summaries
Ensure quality procedures are followed in documentation and invoicing processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project folders and naming conventions
Provide project support as directed by the Project Manager
Assist in tracking service delivery and project milestones
Requirements
B.Sc. Degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or project engineering environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience in project documentation, invoicing, and quality assurance processes is required
