Junior Product Manager at Crop2Cash

ROLE OVERVIEW

• We are looking for a Product Manager passionate about building products that empower farmers.
• You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
• As our Product Manager, you will assist in gathering and prioritizing customer requirements to create winning products.
• Your primary responsibility lies in defining a clear vision that aligns with technology team goals while keeping up-to-date on all developments essential to achieving our desired outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing and evaluating new products
• Identifying areas for modification in existing products and subsequently developing these modifications
• Working with stakeholders to define product roadmap and vision, and execute strategies to achieve business goals
• Defining functional specifications of the product(s) and managing the cross-function group of people that would work on the project including engineers, designers, business development, sales, and marketing
• Identify opportunities based on market needs, competition, and user requirements
• Assist engineers and designers when needed
• Work alongside the Lead Product Manager in managing and implementing sales and marketing targeted at users' activities through research, strategic planning, and implementation.
• Deploy software designs, tools, processes, and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing products and workflows
• Determine the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, staffing, and delegation of project/product tasks.
• Mentor interns to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Determine process improvements, and best practices, and develop new processes.
• Work in close partnership with Team Leads, cross-functional teams, and management.
• Reporting progress on projects to management using status meetings and other communication tools
• Training users on how to use new and existing products
• Attend other duties as they may arise from time to time and as may be assigned.

COMPENSATION

As the Junior Product Manager at Crop2Cash, you will be ranked on the Entry Level in the company, and your salary range starts from NGN 50,000 - NGN 150,000 which will be determined by your score points (over a total of 30 points) for the following:
