Junior Finance Officer at Detail and Avedia Consulting

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Finance Officer to support our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will assist with financial reporting, record-keeping, and basic accounting tasks, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor transactions
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Support audits and other financial reviews
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
• ⁠Must have completed NYSC
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
